HSL, MIDHANI, BDL Gesture

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), in partnership with Bharat Dynamics Ltd and MIDHANI, contributed to the construction of a building to support the Rural Education & Development Centre by Chinmaya Mission at Gollalapalem near Duvvada here.

The initiative focuses on empowering rural communities through education and development under CSR initiatives. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Cmde Hemant Khatri, CMD of HSL, unit head of BDL CA N Gowrisankara Rao, Director Finance of MIDHANI D. Srinivasa Rao, Inaitula Baig and other officials of HSL & RINL. The event marked a significant milestone in the collective efforts to uplift the rural populace of the village. In his address, the HSL CMD applauded Chinmaya Mission's unwavering dedication to rural upliftment through its Chinmaya Grameena Vikas Kendra, which has been operational for over 15 years. Swami Raghuveerananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission, Visakhapatnam West, thanked the organisations for their support emphasising that the newly inaugurated facility will expand educational opportunities for local children and families, fostering a sustainable future for the community.
